NEW! SIMDOS® - Liquid Dosing Made Simple without Tubing

Introducing at PITTCON 2010 a new smart dosing pump for the lab!

The new SIMDOS® diaphragm liquid dosing pump from KNF Neuberger, Inc. is designed with simplicity in mind. The easy-to-read display combined with a touch control knob makes programming and access of all functions very intuitive. Diaphragm pumps are ideally suited for transferring the corrosive liquids often found in laboratories.

The SIMDOS® pump is available with a variety of wetted materials, including PTFE/FFPM. The pump head is situated outside the splash-protected IP-65 housing, a significant safety factor. Fast, precise calibration is crucial for any dosing pump.

The SIMDOS® pump accomplishes this in the shortest times possible. Following calibration, repeatability is +/-1%. The pump transfers liquids with a flow rate of 0 to 100ml/min and doses volumes of 0 to 1000 ml. It offers long-term stability and consistent reliability throughout entire processes. The pump is safe to run dry and is self-priming up to 9 ft of water. It is effective against pressures of up to 90 psig and transfers viscous media up to 150 centistokes. Uses 1/4" compression fittings for 1/8" ID tubing.

The integrated software permits the transfer parameters to be modified for a range of different viscosities at the touch of a button. Designed to have a compact footprint, the pump takes up little valuable lab bench space.

• Easy and intuitive programming

Liquid Lab Pumps

KNF's new NF liquid pumps are the convenient way to transfer liquids in the laboratory without the mess of peristaltic tubing. They are stylish and compact, and PTFE models are highly resistant to chemical attack, prevent contamination of your pumped medium. They provide the longest possible lifetime when pumping corrosive liquids such as acids, gases and vapors. Available with either local or external control capabilities, including 0-10 VDC, Start/Stop via TTL contact, and Output Fault Alarm.

The NF100 and NF300 pumps are available in either polypropylene, PVDF or PTFE head materials, with FFPM valves. You should always check corrosion compatibility charts with the medium you intend to pump.

Adjustable Diaphragm Valves

This diaphragm valve is small, can be continuously adjusted and is suitable for air and liquid. It can be used in many ways, e.g. as an overpressure safety valve, inducing a backpressure or preventing liquid from being sucked / pushed through the pump.

Pulsation Damper

This pulsation damper eliminates up to 97% of the outgoing pulsation and can be used for different purposes: - reduction of vibration in the hoses / pipes - protection of expensive measuring instruments after the pump - improving pulsation sensitive processes.

STEPDOS® Diaphragm Metering Pump

These compact, reliable, high-performance metering pumps replace maintenance-intensive peristaltic pumps and are designed for use with neutral and aggressive liquids. They feature continuous and steady flow, even at low rpm, using a quiet, brushless, 3-phase stepper motor that ensures that the suction cycle is completed at maximum speed, but the output cycle is variably controlled per the programmed speed. Constant speed changes by the motor and electronic control provide steady output over the entire cycle. The pump provides manually-adjustable speeds and menu-driven calibration. The cabinet is stylish, lightweight and splashproof. They are available in two versions; front panel control only, and remote PC control capable.
