High Performance, Deep Vacuum Pumps for Air and Mildly Corrosive Gases

Diaphragm vacuum pumps for high suction power.

These dry, oil-free vacuum pumps employ the latest KNF Neuberger diaphragm stabilization technology. They are an excellent companion for laboratory appliances requiring a deeper vacuum source for pumping slightly aggressive or corrosive gases and vapors.

Shown at right is KNF's N920 series pump. It features excellent pumping speed at low vacuum levels using KNF's diaphragm stabilization system. In addition, interconnections are an integral part of the unique three-stage head to improve leak-tightness.
Available with a universal (90-264VAC, 50-60Hz) AC motor or a brushless-DC motor, both are supplied with integrated logic speed controls. It is gas tight to 6x10-3 mbar x l/s specifications. Ultimate vacuum is <1.5 mbar. It is also available as an OEM model.

PowerDry® Pumps for Aggressive, Saturated Vapors

Self-Cleaning Vacuum Pumps for Saturated Vapors

Use with gel dryers, vacuum ovens, vacuum concentrators and even rotary evaporators.

Because insufficient air flow cannot push liquids thru the pump, vapors condense and accumulate within a vacuum pump's heads. This reduces pump efficiency and extends process time.
How it works: The timed Powerdry® valve meters a burst of ambient air into the pump. This sudden flow of air expels liquids out of the pump heads, immediately restoring efficiency. Your vacuum levels are unaffected.
Unlike other self-cleaning pumps that cycle at the end of the vacuum process, PowerDry® operates throughout the process, when you need it most.

How it works

Fig. A. Condensate (blue) accumulates within a pump head. Fig. B. PowerDry® cycles, and a valve admits a burst of air into the pump’s first stage. The high pressure ratio instanty closes the pump’s inlet valve, preserving your vessel’s vacuum level. The purge air expels liquid through the pump, leaving it clean and dry. Connect a container to the exhaust port to collect liquids.

Stainless Steel Construction Vacuum Pumps and Compressors

Vacuum pumps and compressors for the lab

These dry, oil-free vacuum pumps are an excellent companion for most laboratory appliances requiring a moderate vacuum source or for applying pressure.

The model UN035 single head and parallel head pumps are excellent for higher pressure applications such as gas transfer or circulation. They are available in aluminum, 316 stainless steel, and PVDF/PTFE versions, and are resistant to most gases found in the laboratory. Consult corrosion resistance charts for compatibility.
Single and parallel head units feature high flow and high output pressure and are well suited for the transfer of gases. Use the two or three-stage pumps for deeper end vacuum performance.
