KNF pioneered in the design of advanced diaphragms and

KNF engineers molded a threaded metal stud into the diaphragm body, which eliminated the bulky clamping disk.The new diaphragm (left), smooth across and pliable, now fits closer to the pump head. This reduces dead volume and improves maximum vacuum. Gone was an occasional source of leaks and corrosion.

Another breakthrough in diaphragm technology occurred when KNF engineers used FEA methods to control flexibility characteristics of the diaphragm. Performance, diaphragm life and efficiency increased, and we were able to significantly reduce pump size.

Tough Valve System

KNF's tough, one-piece valve disk easily withstands the punishment created by pumping uncompressible liquid droplets, eliminating inconvenient repair delays and equipment downtime and reducing noise.
