About Heated-Head Pumps and Controls
Equipped for the
efficient transport of hot gas samples in environmental and analytical instruments, they handle
gas temperatures up to 460°F (240°C). The bearings and
motor are isolated from the heat for longer component life. The heated-head model uses either an electrically-heated
cartridge regulated by a thermostat, or an optional programmable temperature controller (see
example at right), to maintain specified head temperature. The
efficient insulation jacket (not N86) stabilizes head temperature, reduces heat loss and prevents
accidental contact.
Models are available as:
- (.16) Heat-resistant model
- (.11) Heated-head model temperature regulated by mechanical thermostat
- (.26) Heated-head model temperature regulated by programmable controller
